Murray speaks after Olympic triumph and the Royal Mail celebrates it with a stamp.
After beating Roger Federer in the Olympic final, Andy Murray has spoken of his feelings with the media revealing how important the win was for him and the rest of the nation with their hefty expectations:
“It ‘s the biggest win of my career and one of the best matches I have ever played. I have known defeat that is hard to swallow and there has been much speculation about me. I’m glad I managed to play the match in the way I was hoping. It was an important match for me. “
As the win was so humungous in Great Britain, the Royal Mail have announced that they have decided to celebrate the triumph of Andy and the other British Olympic heroes with a limited set of stamps dedicated to them. So now Andy Murray will not only be seen on the tennis courts around the world, or in newspapers, you will also get to stick him on a stamp and send him wherever you like!!
